What we do
Yard and tree work, handled by the same two people every visit.
Coastal Bloom is family run. Abel and his father do the work themselves, so the property looks the same in week ten as it did in week one.
Sod Installation
New sod laid over prepped and graded soil for lawns that thinned, washed out or never took. Turf picked to hold up to Lowcountry heat. Three week warranty.
Tree Removal
Dead, leaning, storm damaged or overcrowded trees, including work tight to houses and fences. We haul the debris off.
Tree Trimming & Pruning
Pruning that clears limbs off roofs and lines and opens light back up to the lawn underneath.
Stump Grinding
Ground below grade and backfilled, so the spot stops sprouting back and stops catching mower decks.
Irrigation Installation
Sprinklers laid out around your yard's zones, sun and plant types. New installs carry a one month warranty.
Planting & Mulching
Shrubs and beds planted with species suited to Lowcountry soil and salt air, then mulched to hold moisture down.
Storm Damage Clean-Up

The Lowcountry is hard on a yard. Salt air, sandy soil, heat that does not let up from June to September, and storms that come through and undo a season of work in an afternoon.
So we start by asking what you want out of the yard, then choose plants that can hold up to it. That means fewer replacements, less watering, and a property that still looks right when nobody is fussing over it.
New sod is warrantied three weeks. New irrigation is warrantied one month.

Questions we get asked
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. We come out, walk the property with you and price the work before anything gets started.
What areas do you cover?
Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Okatie, Hardeeville and Ridgeland, plus the area immediately around them. We stay inside about an hour of Bluffton so we can get back out to you quickly when something comes up.
Do you warranty new sod and irrigation?
Yes. New sod carries a three week warranty and a new irrigation install carries a one month warranty. If something fails in that window we come back and put it right.
Do you take one-off jobs, or only recurring lawn care?
Both. Plenty of our work is weekly and biweekly maintenance, and we also take single jobs like a tree removal, a stump, a sod install or a storm cleanup.
Can you clear a tree after a storm?
Yes. We clear downed limbs, split trunks and debris, including trees hung up on roofs, fences and lines. Call rather than use the form so we can get to you sooner.

Abel and his father. Coastal Bloom is a two person family business, so the people who quote the job are the people who do it.
